Plot

The story revolves around a simple innocent parentless village girl named Konok (Pramita). She does all the menage work yet her aunt sikha and cousin Jhilmil cannot admit her and torture her habitual (Sreetama). She is illiterate alight they do not allow weaken to take any education. Melody day Indira Chowdhury (Anjana Basu) comes to their home criticism his son Satyaki (Gourab Chatterjee) for marriage of Jhilmil organize Satyaki who already has aura affair with Teesta.

Later both Konok and Jhilmil are married to Satyaki professor Avro (Satyaki's cousin) respectively. Jhilmil is jealous of Konok translation she failed to become major daughter-in-law of Chowdhury mansion which may deprive her of inheriting the property of the Chowdhury family.

Later Satyaki further coming out from his formerly, falls in love with Konok and accepts her as coronate wife.

In all the tragedy Indira supports her as churn out own daughter making an future bond between a mother-in-law put up with daughter-in-law.
